The first patch release for TFS 12 was released on 4/11. It contains the following requests;

• Add Mail Merge History record when sending mail merge from communication dialog
• Cannot open PDF file in TFS from linked files
• Search, The Recent Tab displays recent activity from all contexts
• Searching across multiple columns enhanced
• Settlement dates shown on the client applications
