Notification When Contacts Change Important Details


As part of our 2024.4 release (Scheduled for release on 13/12/24), there is a new Platform setting section for "Licensee Notification Email Addresses". This is used to nominate email addresses for very specific platform notifications. The initial setting for this feature is "Notification when Contacts Change Legal Details".

When a contact's important details change on the Organisation profile all connected licensees will be notified of the change.

An Activity Feed entry is recorded against the contact for each notification sent, owned by each notified licensee, as proof that the notification was sent. It includes the "new/changed" contact details in the entry details.

If your organisation wishes to receive these notifications, you must advise Insula of the email address to which the notification should be sent. It is suggested that the email address is not that of a person but a shared email address that multiple contacts can receive/access.
