Logistics Tablet Maintenance

The Maintenance screen displays information about current inspections, requests, and the overall work flow of all maintenance items raised against a job. It is used by maintenance inspectors to review current maintenance requests, to record inspections, to create inspection items, and finally to assign those items to trades and suppliers.

Maintenance inspectors can synchronise their Tablet PCs with the office to receive a list of current maintenance requests.

Action Group

The Action group functions only applies to the Inspections view.


Action

Description

New

Opens the Inspection dialog or Inspection Item dialog.

Delete

Deletes the selected item.

Finalise

Tap to complete a maintenance inspection. An inspection is finalised once all inspection items have been created. Finalising a maintenance inspection changes the inspection status from Draft (Tablet) to Final (Tablet).

Create File

Tap to create a PDF file of the selected inspection. The PDF file is automatically copied to the job files folder.

Once a file has been created, it must be signed by the client using the Tablet PC pen.

Sign

Tap to digitally sign off the inspection. Signing an inspection occurs after the client has signed the electronic maintenance inspection PDF file. This will update the Signed column with the date the inspection was completed.

Email

Tap to email the maintenance inspection PDF file. The PDF file must have been created before an email will be created using the system's default email program.

Assign

Assign an inspection item to a maintenance item.
