Tender Document
A tender document is automatically created by Framework ECM when a new job is entered to the system, and is the first item on the Tenders list. The first tender document requires editing, and an existing template may be selected to quickly enter standard tender information.
Procedures
Creating A Blank Tender Document
A first tender will be created when a new client is created.
- Click New. The Create New Document confirmation prompt will appear.
- Click No to create a new blank tender document. The General tab of the Document dialog will be displayed.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Items tab.
- Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and a new tender document will be created.
Copying A Tender Document
- From the Tenders list, select a tender to be copied.
- Click New. The Create New Document confirmation prompt will appear.
- Click Yes to copy the selected document. The General tab of the Document dialog will be displayed.
- Edit or enter the details.
- Select the Items tab.
- Edit or enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and a new tender document will be created.
Modifying A Tender Document
A document can only be modified before an Administration FVL or a Construction FVL has been created. With the exception of colour, a deleted document is always displayed on the list for future reference.
To edit a tender document, select an item from the Tenders list and click Edit.
