Colour Selection Group
The Colour Selection Group screen is used to manage colour selection sections and groups. Each colour selection group belongs to a defined section that identifies a major selection area of a house.
A colour selection group that has no parent not only is displayed in the Group column of the screen, but will also appear in the list of Framework ECMsections on the left side of the screen. Each section (or highest level group) can then have one or more groups assigned to it.
Colour Selection Profile
The Colour Selection Profile screen manages the individual colour selection items that can be selected for inclusion in a template.
Each colour selection item contains a profile that identifies its properties such as manufacturer, colour, price range group, etc. There are three levels of profiles in colour selection. All items have at least one profile.
Dependencies only occur when one level is dependent on the attributes of the preceding level.
Example
- Level 1: Manufacturer
- Level 2: Brick groups
- Level 3: Brick types available within each brick group
Colour Selection Item
The Colour Selection Item screen manages each item in a colour selection. All items are listed according to the section and group to which it belongs.
After creating profiles for the colour selection item, it must then be assigned to a section and group.
Colour Selection Template
Once a new colour selection item has been entered, it must be included in a colour selection template before it can be viewed on the Colour Selection screen.
The Colour Selection Template screen manages colour selection templates. All active colour selection templates are available for selection via the Colour Selection screen.
As colours, suppliers, manufacturers, and trends change, there may be a need to produce an entirely new colour selection template. A new template can be assembled or copied from a previous template. When a new template is entered to the system, each item must be individually added or created.
