Static Data

The Static Data screen is used to manage items available for selection throughout Framework ECM. New items may be added and existing ones may be modified. However, many lists are critical to the functionality of Framework ECM or are hard-coded into the system so are not permitted to be modified.

Example

Gender, Snooze Time, etc.

Procedures

Creating A Static List Category

A static list category is created when implementing non-standard list content into Framework ECM.

Example

Title Type.

Select the Static List list. A shadow will appear around the list to indicate it is selected.
Click New. The Static List dialog will be displayed.
Enter the details.
Click OK. The dialog will close and a new static list will be created.

Creating A List Item

List items appear as selectable options on Framework screens and dialogs. List items are created for a specific static list.

Example

- Activity, Analysis, Letter are list items for the static list Report Type.
- 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes are list items for the static list Snooze Time.

From the Static List list, select the required item. The List Item list will be updated.
Select the List Item list. A shadow will appear around the list to indicate it is selected.
Click New. The Static Data dialog will be displayed.
Enter the details.
Click OK. The dialog will close and a new static list item will be created.
