Job Overview

The Job Overview screen is used to manage key areas for the job such as the enterprise control, house product selection, and the job status.

Job information may be vital to how a job is handled, allocated, costed, and reported.

Two tabs are available on the Job Overview screen:

  • General Tab
  • User Defined Fields Tab

General Tab

In Framework ECM 2020
 Expand for more information

In Framework ECM v7.1, the Product selection is managed through a dialog.

  1. Select the popup next for Product.
  2. From the filters, either select as many known values starting from House Product, and then click Search.
  3. Highlight the required combination and either click OK or double-click.

This structure is dependent on Product validity, set up on Framework Administration.

Changing Division

It is possible to move a client from one region/division to another by clicking the Change Division button. The reason that this may be done is if the client was created against the wrong division or there is a clear and legitimate change in the allocation.

Changing the division for a client has a potentially significant impact on other Framework processes, especially if Framework Integration is in use. Changing the division can break vital links used in these processes. It is recommended that a system administrator be consulted prior to using this function.

  1. Click Change Division. The Change Division Integration Warning confirmation prompt will appear.
  2. Click Yes to change the division. The Change Region/Division confirmation prompt will appear.
  3. Click Yes to change the current client and all jobs for this client.

    OR

Click No to change the current client only.
After changing the division, another job will be automatically selected.

User Defined Fields Tab

The User Defined Fields tab displays fields that have been created using the Customisation function in Framework Administration.

Security permissions can be applied to the UDF tab, but not to the individual fields here.  If a UDF is used on a customised screen, the security permissions can be applied.
