Job Hold
The Job Hold screen manages holds that may need to be applied to a job.
Creating a hold changes the status of the job to On Hold, which can be used in reporting. Further information can be recorded that identifies the nature of the hold and provides a history of the activity.
A job hold does not affect the anticipated completion date calculation. If the job requires a contract extension, delays need to be created.
Placing A Job On Hold
- Click New. The Job Hold dialog will be displayed.
- Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close the job will be put on hold.
Releasing An On Hold Job
- From the Holds list, select the job on hold.
- Click Edit. The Job Hold dialog will be displayed.
- In the Release group, enter the release details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close the job on hold will be released.
