Pending Cancellation / Job Hold

This article explores how to put a job on hold, or change the status to pending cancel.

Pending Cancel:

This is a status used to describe jobs that are pending cancellation. It is given by entering certain information into Framework ECM.

For this to occur, you need to navigate to the client tab, then to the Job Overview screen. This will bring up information relating to the job you currently have selected.

To change this to a pending cancelled job, within the cancellation fields, you will need to edit the category to fit the reason for cancellation. Entering a date along with a reason will cancel a job, however leaving the date field blank will change the job status to pending cancellation. Ensure that you do not enter dates into both cancelled/deleted fields, as this will cause the job status to be deleted.

To revert this change, simply alter the category of the cancellation back to [Unknown].

Job Hold:

To put a job on hold, go to the Job Hold screen under the same client tab, and select new. After entering in any information relevant to the job hold, click OK and it will automatically update the status of the job to ‘On Hold’.

To revert the job hold, re-edit the job hold you had created, and put in an actual release date. This will change the job status back to Active.
