Synchronising Templates in SAM

When creating new Sales Advice (SAM) templates or making changes to existing SAM templates within Framework ECM you must ensure a Synchronise is performed.

Note: New teamplates and/or changes to existing templates in Framework ECM will not appear in SAM unless this is carried out.


Open the Sales Advice Module:

  1. Click on File and then LAN Sync.
  2. Click on the VPB tab.



Adding / Updating an existing Template

  1. Click on the Templates v2 tab.
  2. Select the new template under the 'Document Groups' heading.
  3. Click on the current SAM template under the Sales Advice Master Templates heading.
  4. Click on the arrow (to the left), this will push the template/s into SAM.

  5. Click the Update button next to ‘Template v2 Structure.

  6. Click Close.


Deleting all existing templates under the 'Sales Advice Master Templates' heading and bringing them all back across from 'Framework Master Templates' (Framework ECM) will ensure users always have the most current versions to work with.

Note: The template/s will now be available for SAM users.


TO DELETE CURRENT TEMPLATES

Select the templates for deletion under the 'Sales Advice Master Templates' heading and click   to delete.
