This article describes a solution to the error as shown below:

The below error appears when attempting to export a report to email from Framework.

Solution:


  • This error can be caused by Windows Update KB3102429 and the way it interacts with Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2008.

  • Uninstalling this particular Windows Update should resolve the issue.

  • This update was released by Microsoft to support the Azerbaijani and Georgian Currency Symbols and uninstalling it should have no negative consequences if you don't require the use of these currency symbols.
