Overview

 A new feature has been added to the Work Orders (Approval Request) dialog to allow confirmation of “Goods Received”.

Functionality Delivered

New content/feature to indicate that "Goods have been received" for a Work Order. The new section is titled "Goods Received", with new fields as follows:

a) "Goods Received?"
b) "Date/Time"
c) "Received By"

These are not editable, and only populated by use of the Goods Received button.
The following are required to use this function:
- The work order must be in edit mode
- The work order must be final and approved
- The work order must have a logged purchase order number

A new button "Goods Received" has been added to the dialog here:

Clicking on the “Goods Received” button will capture the system information and populate the fields.

Note: The WO must have a Purchase Order Number (i.e. it has been approved and has a PO#) for the “Goods Received” button to be active/editable.

  • When clicked, a confirmation message will be displayed "Confirm receipt of goods."

Click any of the buttons: Yes or No or Cancel (default), to proceed

  1. If you answer Yes, the fields will refresh the values on-screen:
    - flag - set to Yes
    - time - set to the current date/time
    - user - set the to the current user
