Builder MT WMS Purchase Order Integration
Sub Article Index
Work Flow Management System (WMS) is a third-party software component for the Sage Timberline suite of homebuilder applications created by BuilderMT WMS.
For any queries about using Framework Integration, contact Insula Software.
BuilderMT WMS is used to create purchase orders from Sage Timberline Estimates and manage suppliers and supplier specific pricing. BuilderMT WMS Purchase Orders are imported into Sage Timberline when completed.
Integration of BuilderMT WMS Purchase Orders into Framework ECM allows purchase orders to be viewed without the need for users to access BuilderMT WMS. Integration also includes WMS Material Classes (as Framework ECM Cost Centres) and Suppliers (as Framework ECM Entities).
Orders integration is typically implemented as a part of rolling out the Framework Logistics Tablet solution.
When cost centres, entities, and orders have all been imported from BuilderMT WMS, Framework ECM can use this information to automatically populate Construction Logistics Call Forward Programmes. This allows pre-filling the supplier and order information into the call forward to assist supervisors. With theFramework Logistics Tablet system, supervisors have access to the pre-filled call forward data and an electronic copy of all purchase orders.
Technically, orders integration can be implemented without Framework Logistics Tablet where cost centres and entities are not required. Conversely, cost centres and/or entities can be integrated without the need to necessarily integration orders.
For the purpose of this documentation, it is assumed that all aspects of BuilderMT WMS Purchase Orders integration are to be installed.
