Diary Administration*
The Diary screens are used to manage all lists related to the Framework ECM diary. These include diary type, description, location, times, and staff. In some places where specific lists exist, no changes can be made, however, information can be easily viewed.
Diary Administration is being moved from Framework ECM Administration module to Framework Administration application from FWADM 7.0.9816. Please see Diary Administration.
Diary Entry Type
The Diary Entry Type screen displays the entry types that are currently available.
Diary entry types are pre-set and have very specific actions within the diary. Therefore, diary entry types cannot be added or permanently removed.
Diary Entry Description
The Diary Entry Description screen manages the diary descriptions for each of the current diary entry types. As diary descriptions may change over time, new items can be added, and existing ones can be modified or deleted.
The items viewed in the Diary Entry Description list are related to a selected diary entry type.
Diary Location
The Diary Location screen manages the list of locations that can be selected for a diary entry. Being able to book a location as part of the appointment provides more detailed information on the appointment but can also act to reserve a location.
Diary Block Time
Block time is a period of time that can be assigned to a diary appointment, task, or restriction. The Diary Block Time screen includes a list of the typical time blocks that are available for selection in the Framework ECM diary. Times can be created or modified, as required.
Diary Description Staff
The Diary Description Staff screen is used to assign individual staff members to specific diary entry types. The main advantage of allocating staff in this way is to include only the required staff members to a specific diary entry type.
The list that is used to select individual staff members is derived from the Entity screen. If a staff member is not found on the list, first enter them via the Entities screen as a staff member.
Diary Description Location
The Diary Description Location screen manages appointment locations available to a specific diary entry type.
Diary Description Time
The Diary Description Time screen is used to assign individual block times to specific dairy entry types. The main advantage of allocating block times is to be able to select pre-determined periods of time applicable to the diary description.
The list that is used to select individual staff members is derived from the Diary Block Time screen. If a required location is not found on the list, then they must be entered through the Diary Block Time screen in the diary group.
Calendar
The Calendar screen is used to manage global, non-possible working days. Creating non-possible working days will disallow appointments from being created.
