Construction Progress Periods

Return to Production

Article Index

The Construction Period screen manages the progress call periods for production. Each construction progress period must be entered into the system before progress calls can be created for each job.

Construction progress periods can be created for all region/divisions or for each separate region/division.  Creating separate periods for each region/division allows for different non-progress days to be allocated for each region/division if needed.

A progress period is a seven-day period for which days can be individually selected as non-progress. By default, a progress period has five possible progress days (e.g., working/business days) and two non-progress days (weekend). Other non-progress days, such as public holidays, can be manually entered for a progress week if they differ to the public holidays allocated in the Construction calendar (which runs across all region/divisions).  This applies in particular to region/divisions that relate to different states and therefore have some different public holidays.  These can be manually adjusted for each region/division via the weekly construction progress periods.
