Once the Checklist Items are created and defined, they are grouped together into a Checklist Template. This is what will be allocated and used.

Procedures

Creating A Checklist Template Group

  1. From the Groups list, select a Checklist Template Group.

  2. Click New. Select Yes to add the group as a subgroup of your selection, or No to create it at the same level.The Group dialog will be displayed.

  3. Enter the details.

  4. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new group will be created.

Creating A Checklist Template

  1. From the Groups list, select a checklist management group. The Items list will be updated.

  2. Click New. The General tab of the Checklist Template dialog will be displayed.

  3. On the General tab, enter required details.

  4. Select the Structure tab.

  5. Select the Group panel.

  6. In the Toolbar, select the New Item button. The Checklist Template Group dialog will be displayed.

  7. Enter the details.

  8. Select The Items panel.

  9. In the Toolbar, select the New Item button. The Select Checklist Item dialog will be displayed.

  10. From the list, select the Item to be included in the template. Repeat until all required are selected.

  11. Click OK. The dialog will close and a Checklist Template will be created.

The Copy button can be used to create a new duplicate Template. From the Template list select the record to be copied followed by the Copy button.
