The Select Job screen allows users to search for a client or job using multiple search criteria. The Search Results list displays the results of a search.


Search Group

Searching can be performed on all or part of the entered criteria.

Example

Entering 'A' into the Street Name field will, once the Refresh button has been tapped, list all street names that begin with, or include, the letter A.

Importantly, upon any update within the search criteria, the 'Refresh' button from the side bar or context bar must be pressed.

If the required job is not found, modify the search criteria.

The following fields are able to be used to filter the results of the job search.

Field

Description

Lot Number

Lot number of the house.

Street Number

Street number of the house.

Street Name

Street name of the house.

Suburb

Name of the suburb the house is located in.

Job Number

Number of the job.

Client

Name of client.

Supervisor

Name of the construction supervisor.

Manager

Name of the construction manager.

House

Type of house.

Select Stage

Current stage of the house. Tap the required stage.

Example: Administration, Construction, Handover, Maintenance.

Tip: Multiple stages can be selected.

Some users and companies may utilise different fields to classify jobs, e.g. house type, lot #, client etc. Knowledge of this process can be applied to filter and sort results to suit your workflow.

The columns on the 'Select Job' screen are able to be sorted, allowing for easier visibility of certain jobs, e.g. for a particular client, or particular house type. Simply tapping on the column name will sort in ascending/descending order.

Search Results List

The results of the search based on the entered criteria, in order of Site Start, which presents the list in Build Sequence.

The following demonstrates the

The following is a graphical representation of how the dates appear on the select job screen, based on the description above.

When using the default site start filtering, unforecasted dates will appear first, then in order of Site Start from oldest to latest.

This is also the order that jobs will appear when toggling through on the Context Bar.

Context Bar Toggle

The Toggle arrows can be used to select jobs sequentially, based on the Site Start order.  As they used, the job details presented in the Context Bar will update, and the job will be highlighted in the list.

Entering 'x' into the Street Name field will, once the Refresh button has been tapped, list all street names that begin with, or include, the letter x.

Procedures

Selecting A Job

  1. Enter all or part of the required search criteria.
  2. Tap Refresh. The Search Results list will be updated.
  3. From the Search Results list, select the required job and tap the Select Job button. The selected job will be displayed in the context bar.

Whenever a job number is listed on any screen, double-tap the job number and the job will be selected as the new current job. The context bar will update with the job details.

Select Job Sidebar

The Select Job sidebar contains the following options:

Clear criteria entered into the search area of the screen.

Select Job

Tap to select the currently highlighted job as the selected job. The context bar will be updated.
