TFS 13 introduced a new email solution where all emails sent from TFS are now sent via the Insula Perspective Gateway solution. Setting up your signature. Setting up your signatureUsers can create their email signature in the new User Options option under the File drop-down menu. You cannot cut and paste your standard email signature as it will not translate properly. The toolbar for the email signature has the following options;
You can create different signatures for each Context that you have. You can click on the Apply All Contexts button to use the same signature across all Contexts. Emailing from the Communicate screenWhen you click on the Communicate button, in the Client Contacts screen, you will see as before an email option. However, when you click in the radio button the all-new Email dialog box will open. Selecting the To/Cc/Bcc options will show you the available email contacts You can then click on the relevant contact and then select either To, Cc or Bcc to add them to the email distribution list. When you have finished making your selections click on the Add Recipients. You can add attachments to your emails but they cannot exceed a size of 5MB. When you exceed this The Email Size display will turn red indicating that the attachments are too big If you click on the Send option whilst this is red you will see the following message; Click here to return to top of page Emailing from SmartlodgeWhen you use Smartlodge to either email clients quotes or send financiers applications via email the process now uses Gateway.
