The Drafting screen manages multiple drafting activities at various stages in the construction process.
Example: Planning Drawings, Construction Drawings, Contract Drawings, etc.

Creating Drafting Items With New Job
By default each new job has the Construction and Final Drafting Types created.
Additional types Changes/Rework, Detailed, Preliminary, or Sketch can be created with a new job by setting preferences.
These preferences are in Security > Permissions > Framework ECM > Production Management > Drafting. They are available to be set at Default or Context level.
Creating A Drafting Item Manually
- From the Drafting Type drop-down list, select the drafting type.
- Click New. The General tab of the Drafting dialog will be displayed.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Management tab.
- Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and a new drafting item will be added.
