. By default when creating a client if you set the client broker the owner will be assigned as the broker and this will also be applied to new client contacts. If you add a contact who is 'owned' by a different broker their ownership will not be changed. Non-client entities (Accountants, Vendors etc) can be owned by one broker whilst the entities contacts can be owned by a different broker (e.g There is a car sales dealership that is owned by one broker but there are several sales contacts that could be owned by different brokers. You can assign ownership of entities to non-brokers (eg Owned by the Enterprise) Ownership used in the Tools screens, reporting and Smart Campaign. TFS Main - New Client DialogueIn the New Client dialogue click on the Marketing tab and select the owner. |

When you click on the popup next to Owner you will be shown the Select Broker dialogue. If the Owner is not a broker you can select the Entity Role drop down and choose the role of the entity that you want to select (e.g. The owner may be the Enterprise.) |

- This happens regardless of whether the user has permission to change the ownership
4. The above change must also be applied to the Marketing MDI, allowing the owner to be set
- This should be the first field group, field on the left hand side
5. The above change must also be applied to the Entity Dialog in the TFS Admin Program (which looks different to the TFSMain version)
- This should be on the Marketing tab, as the first field group, field on the left hand side
