Context Bar Ahead/Behind, Weekly/Overall Progress Percentage

- Days ahead/behind - this indicates the amount of days ahead or behind the job is according the template that's assigned to the job. This is based on the site start actual date and today's date.
- Week Percentage (Progress Period) - this indicates how many activities / days were able to be completed in the current construction period. All activities for a construction day (ie: if there are 3 activities to be completed on 1 construction day. Then all 3 must be completed to receive that days 'progress'. A typical construction week is 5 days in length this may differ where public hols/non-possible days exist.  
Example: If a supervisor completes 1 days worth of progress in a 5 day construction week, his weekly progress will be 20%. If he completes 6 days worth of progress in a 5 day construction week, his weekly progress will be 120%.
- Overall Percentage (Progress Overall) - this indicates all possible construction progress days for the job against the total actual days completed on the programme.

Summary View

The Summary View is a dashboard displaying the progress statistics in various formats.

Progress of less than 75% is displayed as Red, greater than 75% but less than 89% is displayed as Amber, and greater than 90% is Green.

History View

This view shows the history of completion onsite over historical construction/progress periods. It shows items such as possible vs. actual days complete, weekly % and overall %.

Update View

This is the view that allows you to add weekly progress comments that are added to the construction overview in Framework ECM, and show on weekly progress reporting.

On this screen, progress against all a supervisors jobs can be seen at a glance. Previous periods can be selected by using the drop-down arrow next to the 'Select a Progress Period' field.

Weekly Comment Dialog

This dialog displays the Items, Details, Delay Notes and Comments for the week and allows for the entry of an overall Weekly Comment.

  • Using the  button, copying from the Delayed Start Notes, Delayed Completion Notes, or Item Comments
  • Using the  button to copy the Supervisor Notes from the previous Construction Period.
  • Free text typing.
Tip

When adding in a weekly progress comment, it is advisable to include a short description on what has been completed this week, and what is likely to be completed next week. This way, milestone activities can be easily tracked, and provide construction managers with adequate details on job progress at a glance.
