Procedures

Creating A Value Range

By default, the Value Ranges list is ordered alphabetically. It is a good idea to use a standard naming convention so that value ranges that will be used together are listed together.

Copying A Value Range

The Copy button is used to duplicate an existing value range. This greatly reduces the amount of time to type in values when more than one value range shares similar values.

  1. From the Value Ranges list, select a value range.

  2. Click Copy. A message prompt will be displayed.

  3. Click Yes to copy the selected specification value range.

  4. A copy of the specification value range will be created with the same name as the copied value range appended with the (Copy).
