The following is required when users would require the addition of need additional or new entity roles, such as those not already captured in the default list, or in the case of a construction logistics rollout.

To do this, you will need to have the Framework Administration application installed. If this is not installed, you will need to contact your systems administrator so that this can be arranged.

In Framework Administration

...

Once available, launch the application, and login with your Framework ECM loginusername and password.

From the side bar, select 'RMS', then the Static Data working folder.

...

You may leave the other items blank.

As an example, I would like to add in a concrete supplier to the Entity list, with a prefix of their cost code for easy (this makes identification within the logistics tablet solution much easier for the Construction Supervisor), follow the below example.

Press OK to create the new entity role. This list role will now appear in the under Entity/Entity in Framework Administration.

In Framework ECM (Administration Module)

Next, we must create the default entities (unknown/not applicable) so that these entity lists can be chosen from the list.

To do this, open Framework ECM, and navigate to the Administration Module (not the applicationAdmin Application). From the side bar, select entityEntity, then entity. This will populate with the same list as you had previously Entity. (Note: The list will be populated with the Entity Roles seen within the Framework Administration application).

Select the newly created entity role (i.e. 260 - Concrete Supplier), and hit 'new'.

Note: the singular entity role displayed in this list is only above image displays only one Entiry Role in the list, this is for instructional purposes , and only; your list will be much greaterdisplay our default Entity Roles and potentially other custom roles.

From the next dialog presented, hit the NO button, to select an entity already established in the system. The reason we do this is to utilise the Framework standard [Not Applicable and ]  and [Unknown] entities.

From the entity search dialog, you should choose an existing role for Not Applicable and Unknown (in two steps). These by default are both under Not Applicable existing role, or individually under Not Applicable and Unknown.
