Adding an End SplitWhen you select Yes the Revenue Split dialog is displayed as below; Image Modified Click the Image Modified button next to Specific Entity and select Referrer In the example below you can see that Fixed Amount has been toggled to Yes and a value of $200 has been entered Image Modified When the OK button is pressed the Revenue Split item is added to the Template. Image Modified This is showing that $200 dollars of the revenue will be paid to the Referrer of the deal. The rest of the revenue will be divided with a Group Split. With Revenue selected click on New and select No to add a group split. The Revenue Split dialog is displayed as below; Image Modified The Percentage Split is automatically shown at 100%. You can change this if required. This is a 100% of the remaining revenue after the end split has been taken for the Default Referrer. When the OK button is pressed the item is added to the split template. Image Modified In the example above you can see that there is an item in the template section with 100% next to it. This is showing that 100% of the remaining revenue after the end split is to be divided. Dividing the Group SplitThe Group Split is taking a portion of the revenue to be divided by End Splits or Group Splits. To add a split to a Group Split first click on the the item in the Template window Image Modified When you now add subsequent splits they will be against the Group Split as opposed to the Revenue.
Image Modified In the example above you can see that 2 end splits have been added to the group split. Each of the for 50%. The Complete? now has a Image Modified because all of the revenue has been allocated. Below is an example of how the split looks when it is applied. Image Modified The total revenue was $1100. - $200 is to be paid to the Referrer of the deal who was the vendor Big Wheels.
- Take $200 off the total and this leaves $900. This is the value to be divided in the Group split.
- The Broker for the deal receives $450.00
- The Enterprise receives $450.00
