Default Framework Initialisation File Location
The default location for the framework.ini file in the [fw folder] is:
\[fw folder]\Setup\[Framework Application]\[Framework Version]\setup\program files\Insula Group Pty Ltd\Framework\Bin
The default location for the installed framework.ini file is:
Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Insula Group Pty Ltd\[Framework Application]\Bin
Windows Vista (32-Bit): C:\Program Files\Insula Group Pty Ltd\[Framework Application]\Bin
Windows Vista (64-Bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\Insula Group Pty Ltd\[Framework Application]\Bin
Windows 7 (32-Bit): C:\Program Files\Insula Group Pty Ltd\[Framework Application]\Bin
Windows 7 (64-Bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\Insula Group Pty Ltd\[Framework Application]\Bin
Modifying The Framework Initialisation File
To modify the framework.ini file:
Open Windows Explorer.
Browse to the location of the framework.ini file.
Right-click the framework.ini file and select Open or Edit. Microsoft Notepad will open
Edit the initialisation file.
Save the initialisation file.
Close the file.
Deploying A Customised Framework Initialisation File
The quickest and easiest way to deploy a customised framework.ini file is to modify the file in the [fw folder] location:
Open Windows Explorer.
Browse to the location of the framework.ini file (in the [fw folder] location - see above)
Create a copy of the default .ini file by right-clicking on framework.ini and select Copy.
Right-click in Windows Explorer and select Paste. A copy of the file will be created.
Two copies of the file are now available:Framework - Copy.ini
Framework.ini
Rename Framework - Copy.ini to Framework - Default.ini.
Right-click the framework.ini file and select Open or Edit. Microsoft Notepad will open
Edit the initialisation file.
Save the initialisation file.
Close the file.
