This functionality is available in Framework 2020 (v7.1).

User Authentication

To establish the connection between the user in Framework and the user in Almirah, there is an authentication process in Framework;

  1. In Production Module, Launch File > User Options.
  2. Select Perspective Platform tab.
  3. Enter the Almirah Login and Password, as you would in the browser.
  4. Hit Authenticate button.

When the authentication is successful, a Contact ID is stored for the user.

Thin Client Link

A Thin Client set up is available for

  • Accessing the Almirah Document Management System when the documents to be managed and uploaded are local to the user, and not Framework ECM
  • Refreshing the Almirah Project when the job is changed in Framework ECM.

These functions are managed by Security Preferences.

Connecting to the relevant project in DMS depends on all other relevant preferences being set correctly and the project existing on the Platform.
