This article might be useful when exploring how to log and notify a supervisor without deleting all actioned emailsexplores how to add an email template that is sent to supervisors along with their 'notification' email (list of dates/IDs) to give them a readable version of the logistics notification email. It contains job information, dates changed, and the supplier against the activity changed.

Step-by-step guide

Log into Framework Administration and select CRMCommunication, then System Email Tpl.

Create an email template and utilise something similar to this:

The way you would get the fields, e.g. {{jobaddress}}, is to select insert field and select the field you are after.Image Added

If it does not already exist, create the 'Trade Desk Notification' email, then create an email template against this. For the subject, use  Notification Trade Desk - {{jobAddress}}

Within the HTML section, use the insert field to add in the information that you want contained in the email. 

For the Framework standard, you may use:


Hello {{supervisorName}},

Please note the below details have now been updated in your call forward by Allocation and the Purchase Orders sent to Trades.

Address: {{jobAddress}}
Activity: {{cstLActivityName}}
Called For: {{dCalledForAct}}
New Supplier: {{supplierName}}

After this is created, you can apply this to the notification emails preference. This is done in Framework ECM - Security Module → Preference.

Against Pref ID -50172, set a preference of the email that you created in the previous steps.

Once you have set this, notifications sent via Framework ECM will produce a readable email, like the below example, for the supervisor against the job.
