The Delays tab displays all of the possible working days for a construction period and allows for contract or progress delays to be assigned to specific days. It also allows for comments to be added from a supervisor or operator.

Procedures

Adding A Delay

  1. From the Progress Period drop-down list, select a progress period.
  2. Depending on the type of delay being assigned, click the Contract or Progress button.

  1. Warning

    - A contract delay may impact on the anticipated completion date.
    - A building contract may require that a client be notified of the delay. 


  2. From the Delay Class list, select a class.
  3. From the Delay Reason list, select a reason.
  4. Click on the day that requires the delay to be assigned. The day will be highlighted in yellow.
  5. Click  to

    Click Image Added  to copy the delay to the relevant day.

    Tip

    To remove a delay, highlight the delay and click Image Added 


  2. Click OK to confirm the date.

The Work Flow tab manages stage dates, such as site, base, frame, lock up, and fix. Inspection appointments can also be recorded.
