Procedures

Creating A VPB Section

  1. From the VPB Sections group, select the location for the new VPB section.
  2. Click New. The Section dialog will be displayed.
  3. Enter the details.
  4. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new VPB section will be created.

Moving A VPB Section or Item

A VPB section can be moved using the 'drag and drop' method.

Creating A Note Item

Tip: Note items are not printed in the client document and are often used as either internal instructions for staff or as separators/headings.

  1. From the VPB Sections group, select the location for the new VPB item.
  2. Click the Items list. A shadow will appear around the list to indicate it is selected.
  3. Click New. The Select Item Type dialog will be displayed.
  4. Select Note Item.
  5. Click OK. The General tab of the Note Item dialog will be displayed.
  6. Enter the details.
  7. Select the BOQ Links tab.
  8. Enter the details.
  9. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new note item will be created.

Creating A Standard Item

  1. From the VPB Sections group, select the location for the new VPB item.
  2. Click the Items list. A shadow will appear around the list to indicate it is selected.
  3. Click New. The Select Item Type dialog will be displayed.
  4. Select Standard Item.
  5. Click OK. The General tab of the Standard Item dialog will be displayed.
  6. Enter the details.
  7. Select the Area Pricing tab.
  8. Enter the details.
  9. Select the Validity tab.
  10. Enter the details.
  11. Select the Formula tab.
  12. Enter the details.
  13. Select the Miscellaneous tab.
  14. Enter the details.
  15. Select the Image tab.
  16. Enter the details.
  17. Select the BOQ Links tab.
  18. Enter the details.
  19. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new standard item will be created.
