The User screen displays information about TFS users and their group associations. User groups are useful as permissions can be assigned to groups of users rather than individual users making it easier to manage high level security.

| - From the Security section on the Sidebar select User.
- From the Administration menu, select Security then User.

| - Select the User Group list. A shadow will appear around the list to indicate it is selected.
- Click the New button. The User Group dialog will be displayed.

- Enter the name.
- Click the Short Name Copy button (Image Added ) if the short name is to be the same as the name.
OR Enter a short name. - Click the OK button. The User Group dialog will close.

- Click on the User Group that the user belongs to.
- Select the User.
- Click on Edit.
- Make the required changes.
- Clcik OK.
