  1. Open the field exchange utility (Start → All programs → Insula Software → Utilities → Field Exchange Utility)

  2. Get the locking code

    Note

    If an error is returned, this indicates that the sentinel hardware license key is not connected to the current machine.


  3. Copy the code that is generated from the field exchange utility through the 'copy to clipboard' button.

  4. Email a copy of the code to Insula Software: support@Frameworkecm.com.au 

    Note

    Insula Software will send you an updated code via email, typically in response to your request.


  5. Before updating the code, ensure all users have exited the system
  6. Copy the new code into the second text box
  7. Click the Update License button to complete the license update

    Note

    If an error is returned at this step, please contact Insula Software support.


  8. On the system that contains the sentinel hardware license key, restart the sentinel protection server services OR restart the system
