The Client Overview screen is used to view and edit general and summary client information that can be viewed at a glance. More in-depth information for a client and their applications may be accessed through the client related screens and lists.

Deleting a client will permanently delete them and any associated applications and quotes from the system. Note |

Ensure the client you wish to delete is shown in the Context Bar. |
- Click the Delete Client button. A deleting client prompt will appear.
- Click the Yes button to delete the client and remove all of their details and applications from TFS permanently.
OR Click the No button to keep the client.

- Click the Change Client Type button. The Select Client Typedialog will be displayed.
- Select the required client type.
- Click the OK button.

Corporation/Partnership (with contact people) | Individual | - Users are shown the Change Client Typedialog with all of the client contacts listed. Users can either modify a contact or create a new contact.
- Creating a new contact will update the client type to Individual. The individual will also be added to the client contacts list.
- Modifying a contact will update the client type to Individual. The selected contact will become the client whilst the other contacts will be the client's contacts.
| Corporation/Partnership (without contact people) | Individual | - The Corporation/Partnership will be changed to an Individual. The Individual will be added to the client contacts list.
| Corporation/Partnership | Multiple Applicant | - The Corporation/Partnership will be changed to Multiple Applicant.
| Individual | Corporation/Partnership | - A new Corporation/Partnership client is created with the same name as the Individual.
- The Individual is kept as a contact for the Corporation and the Individual's relationship is changed to Applicant.

| Corporate client (or types other than multiple applicants and individual), who is not a trustee | Trust | - The client is changed to trust, and the entity type is trust too.
| Corporate client who is a trustee | Trust | - The client’s corporate entity is added as a client contact with the relationship oftrustee. Thetrustentity is moved into the client entity.
