There is a new method of emailing from TFS.  All emails can now be sent via the Insula Perspective Gateway.

To set the preferences for this a new Preference Group has been added.

  1. In TFS Admin select Security / Preference
  2. Click on Communications ./ Email Service
  3. Click on Email Service Enabled?
  4. Click on Modify.

This method is used by the Communicate options within TFS Main. TFS SmartCampaign still uses the old SMTP settings

  1. Press Spacebar to toggle the value to Yes.
  2. Click OK,

You will also need to set the Email Service From Address. This will be the email address that email will be shown on the email that is sent.
