Example: A table may display the additional cost for non-standard brick selections for a specific house type that has a pre-determined brick quantity.

Procedures

Copying An Item

  1. Select the Item you want to copy.
  2. Click Copy.

The new, copied item will be created in Edit mode, ready for updates.

Creating A Note Item

Tip: Note items are not printed in the client document and are often used as either internal instructions for staff or as separators/headings.

  1. Select the Section for the Item from the dropdown.
  2. Click New. The Select Item Type dialog will be displayed.
  3. Select Note Item.
  4. Click OK. The General tab of the Note Item dialog will be displayed.
  5. Enter the details.
  6. Select the BOQ Links tab.
  7. Enter the details.
  8. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new note item will be created.

Creating A Standard Item

  1. Select the Section for the Item from the dropdown.
  2. Click New. The Select Item Type dialog will be displayed.
  3. Select Standard Item.
  4. Click OK. The General tab of the Standard Item dialog will be displayed.
  5. Enter the details.
  6. Select the Area Pricing tab.
  7. Enter the details.
  8. Select the Validity tab.
  9. Enter the details.
  10. Select the Formula tab.
  11. Enter the details.
  12. Select the Miscellaneous tab.
  13. Enter the details.
  14. Select the Image tab.
  15. Enter the details.
  16. Select the BOQ Links tab.
  17. Enter the details.
  18. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new standard item will be created.

Creating A Table Item

  1. Select the Section for the Item from the dropdown.
  2. Click New. The Select Item Type dialog will be displayed.
  3. Select Table Item.
  4. Click OK. The General tab of the Table Item dialog will be displayed.
  5. Enter the details.
  6. Select the Columns tab.
  7. Enter the details.
  8. Select the Rows tab.
  9. Enter the details.
  10. Select the Validity tab.
  11. Enter the details.
  12. Select the Image tab.
  13. Enter the details.
  14. Select the BOQ Links tab.
  15. Enter the details.
  16. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new table item will be created.

Copying An Item

The new, copied item will be created in Edit mode, ready for updates.  The only difference between the original item and the one created is the Full Reference.
