Procedures
Copying An Item
- Select the Item you want to copy.
- Click Copy.
The new, copied item will be created in Edit mode, ready for updates.
Creating A Note Item
Tip: Note items are not printed in the client document and are often used as either internal instructions for staff or as separators/headings.
- Select the Section for the Item from the dropdown.
- Click New. The Select Item Type dialog will be displayed.
- Select Note Item.
- Click OK. The General tab of the Note Item dialog will be displayed.
- Enter the details.
- Select the BOQ Links tab.
- Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and a new note item will be created.
Creating A Standard Item
- Select the Section for the Item from the dropdown.
- Click New. The Select Item Type dialog will be displayed.
- Select Standard Item.
- Click OK. The General tab of the Standard Item dialog will be displayed.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Area Pricing tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Validity tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Formula tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Miscellaneous tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Image tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the BOQ Links tab.
- Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and a new standard item will be created.

- Click OK. The General tab of the Table Item dialog will be displayed.

- Select the Columns tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Rows tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Validity tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Image tab.
- Enter the details.
- Select the BOQ Links tab.
- Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and a new table item will be created.
Copying An Item
- Select the Item you want to copy.
- Click Copy.
The new, copied item will be created in Edit mode, ready for updates. The only difference between the original item and the one created is the Full Reference.
