Important: Only administrators of the TFS Asset Purchase Calculator can view this screen.

  • The Calculator Setup screen is used to modify the default settings for the web calculator such as GST Rate, base interest
    rates and default working periods. It is also used to create global rate categories which can be applied to certain types of clients.

Example: Let's say a referrer's clients may be split into high volume and low volume clients. Those in the high volume category may receive a lower interest rate than a new client.


Opening the Calculator Setup screen


  • From the top of the screen, click the Calculator Setup tab.

Rate
Minimum Brokerage

Default minimum brokerage percentage.

Entering a minimum brokerage percentage prevents agents quoting less brokerage than what the finance broker is willing to accept.

Note: If a minimum brokerage percentage is entered, the $ field in Options group of the Calculator screen is locked.

Always Show Calculator Options

Toggle to display the default visibility of the Options group on the Calculator page. The Options group can be manually changed on the Calculator page.

Submissions Email Addresses

Finance broker email address to which an application will be submitted.

Example: email@emailfinance.com.au

Submissions Subject

Email subject heading of the submitted online application.

Import Licence Code

The import licence code allows the encrypted submitted application XML files to be imported into The Finance Shop.

The client licence code is generated and provided by Insula Software.



Global Rate Categories Group


      This group is used to create multiple global interest rate categeories for selection in the

Options

      group of the calculator screen.



    This allows a finance broker to set multiple base interest rate options.


Example: An agent may classify their clients as either low or high interest rates.
Note:

      Client specific interest rate categories can be created on the User Setup screen.



The default category in the Options group of the calculator screen will be the default global rate category selection.

NameName given to the global rate category. Example: High Interest Rate, High Volume Client, Asset Purchase, Mortgage, Lease, Etc.
Rate %Amount charged, expressed as a percentage of principal, by a lender to a borrower for the purchase of an asset.
DefaultClick to set the global rate category as the default option highlighted in the Options group of the calculator screen.
