Creating A Foreseeable Delay
Click New. The Foreseeable Delay dialog will be displayed.
Enter the details.
Click OK. The dialog will close and a foreseeable delay will be created.
Foreseeable Delay Dialog
This dialog is used to set the number of delay days allowed for within the contract duration.
General Group
Field | Description |
---|---|
Class | Class of delay that will be used to identify those delays that fall within the allowance. Click the Class popup button to select. Example: Weather, Labour, RDO. |
Print On Contract? | Will the foreseeable delay be printed on the contract?

Days Group
Field | Description |
---|---|
Allowance | Number of delays for that class that can be recorded before they become claimable against the contract. Example: If there are 10 weather delays allowed for in the contract, the 11th delay will need to be claimed against the contract. |
Reported | Count of the delays for that class that have been recorded for the job. This field is locked and cannot be edited. |
Claimable | Count of those reported delays that are eligible to be claimed. This field is locked and cannot be edited. |
Claimed | Count of the eligible delays that been claimed. This field is locked and cannot be edited. |
Approved | Count of the approved delays. This field is locked and cannot be edited. |
Allowance Reached Notification Group
Field | Description |
---|---|
To Client | Date a notification was sent to the client to advise that delays for that class had reached the allowance. |
Notes Group
Free text area to record further information about the foreseeable delays.
