The General tab is used to enter basic information about a diary entry, including location, staff details, date and time, and client contact details.
General Group
Field | Description | ||

Type | Type of diary entry. The type of diary entry may be pre-determined by the system area from which the dialog is launched. Click the Type popup button to select.

Location | Location allocated to the diary entry. Click the Location popup button to select.

Staff | Staff member allocated to the diary entry. Click the Staff popup button to select. | ||

Date/Time Group

Date | Date of the diary entry. Enter the date of the diary entry or click the Search for a Free Time popup button to open the Search for a Free Time dialog. | ||
All Day? | Is the diary entry an all day event?

Block Time | Available block time periods for the diary entry. Click the Block Time drop-down list to select a block time diary entry period. The Time From and Time To fields will be populated.

Time From | Start time of the diary entry. | ||
Time To | End time of the diary entry. |
Client Group
Field | Description |

Client Name | Name of the client associated with the diary entry. This field is based on the currently selected client listed in the context bar. |
Contact | Primary client contact associated with the diary entry. Click the Contact popup button to select. |
Job Number | Job number associated with the diary entry. This field is locked and cannot be edited. |
Status Group
Field | Description | ||

Date Booked | Date the diary entry was created. This field cannot be edited. | ||
Booked By | User who booked the diary entry. This field cannot be edited. | ||
Status | Status of the diary entry.
