A meaningful name for the resource.

Display Name

The name, of the resource, displayed on the customer portal.

Display Category

Pick the display category for the resource. This will determine which tab the resource will be shown in on the resources section of the customer portal e.g. FAQ \ Knowledge Hub \ Videos.

A meaningful description for the resource.

If this resource is a link to a document in Almirah you can insert the link here.

Image/Video Content

The image or video for the resource.

Resource URL

The URL if the resource is a hosted video .

An FAQ resource is entered directly through Customer Portal > Resources. These are used to define simple text-based frequently asked questions.

You can add links and images using the editor.

Linking to Resources from the DMS

To use documents from the DMS you must first add aDocument Typefor each document that you wish to add.

Document Type

When setting up the Document Type you need to ensure that you set the necessary permissions for the Customer Portal.

When you have created the Document Type you can add the document that you want to use.
