Response Groups allow you to define custom responses to meet your requirements for structured inspections. A response can either be Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.

Perspective

To access this menu, you need to change your perspective to Onsite Inspect - System Administrator or Onsite Inspect - Data Administrator.

Item Format

There are two types of Response Groups;

  • Multiple choice - One response.

  • Multiple choice - Multiple responses


Multiple choice - One response

Users can choose only one response from the list of Response Items.

Multiple choice - Multiple responses

You define a minimum and a maximum number of responses that the user is able to select.

Standard Responses

Below is the list of standard responses available for selection

The responses translate into two response types. The type can either be

  • Satisfactory. The item has passed.

  • Unsatisfactory. The item has failed, and further actions are required.

Adding a Response Group

When you click on the Add Response Group button, the following screen is displayed;

When you click Save, you will see your new Response Group.

You now add the responses that will be available to select.

A response can either be Satisfactory or not. If you check the Satisfactory box, the response is Satisfactory. If you do not tick it, the response is Unsatisfactory.

You can add as many response items as you require.

Note

You should keep the labels as succinct as possible if using the response group on the mobile version.
