Restore Database - Framework Logistics Tablet
- Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (Start > All Programs > Microsoft SQL Server > SQL Server Management Studio).
- Connect to the required server.
- Right-click on Databases and click Restore Database.... The Restore Database dialog will be displayed.
In the To Databases field, enter the Framework Logistics Tablet blank database name.

- In the From Device field, click the Browse button. The Specify Backup dialog will be displayed.
- Click the Add button. The Locate Backup File dialog will be displayed.
Browse to the folder location of the backup file.

If during the upgrade process 'Not Responding' appears in the title bar of the Framework Logistics Tablet Upgrade software, this is due to the system performing very long and CPU-intensive calculations. This message will disappear once the upgrade has been completed

The Framework Logistics Tablet database upgrade can be performed either manually or silently. The manual upgrade option requires user intervention and selections whilst the silent upgrade option, which uses a command line switch, requires no user intervention and is therefore useful for group policy rollouts across multiple computer systems. Both manual and silent installation options are included.

- Double-click the FworkCstLTabletUpgrade.exe file. The Upgrade Tablet Database prompt will appear.
Click the Yes button. The database upgrade will be performed.

The first step in the upgrade procedure will take a backup of the upgraded tables and store the tables in a Microsoft Access database file (backup.mdb). This will be stored under a time-stamped folder indicating the date and time of the upgrade. For example, Backup 20100404_105719. This folder can be deleted once the upgrade has been completed- If the upgrade was successful you will receive a successfully completed message.

- Click the Close button.

Specify a Name and Destination for the backup file, if different from the default name and destination details.
