Adding Check Out details to the Document Structure

You must specify the location where checked out documents will be placed when they are checked out.

Log into the DMS as a System Administrator and go to Document Structures, locate the required structure and view the Applicable Sites accordion

Click on the Site hyperlink and enter the Lan path details for the Documents Check Out LAN Path.

Working folder for users

For each user that is required to check out documents, you must specify their working folder settings.

Log into the DMS as a System Administrator and go to Contacts and locate the contact who you want to allow to check documents out and in and out. Providing that, Check - in / Check - out, is configured for your DMS you will see a new accordion Document Check In / Out Settings.
