Log into the DMS as a System Administrator and go to Document Structures and view the Applicable Sites accordion

Click on the Site hyperlink and enter the Lan path details for the Documents Check Out LAN Path.

Log into the DMS as a System Administrator and go to Contacts and locate the contact who you want to allow to check documents in and out. Providing Check-in / Check-out is configured for your DMS you will see a new accordion Document Check In / Out Settings.
